Appointment Policy

At Grima’s Collectables, select high-value products are available by appointment to ensure security and peace of mind for both buyer and seller.

Applies to (examples):

​

• Shadowless Charizard 1st Edition (PSA/BGS/CGC graded or raw)

• 1st Edition WOTC Pokémon Booster Boxes (Base, Jungle, Fossil, etc.)

• Other sealed vintage product, graded grails, or consignments over our risk threshold

How appointments work

 

• Request a booking: Email or message us with the item, your name, and preferred dates/times.

• Verification: We may request basic ID (driver licence/Passport) and collect a refundable holding deposit to secure the slot (credited to purchase; fully refundable if you don’t proceed after inspection unless otherwise stated).

• Secure location: Inspections occur at a secure meeting point or office (CCTV/monitored). The exact location is provided after booking confirmation.

• Inspection protocol: Items remain in our custody during viewing. Sealed products are not opened. For graded cards, we provide slab numbers and provenance/photos in advance on request.

• Payment options: Bank transfer, EFTPOS, major cards, or escrow (by arrangement). Cash by prior agreement only.

• Completion: On cleared payment, we provide a detailed receipt, provenance notes, and high-resolution photos of the item you purchased. Optional insured courier is available.

Rescheduling & cancellations

 

• You can reschedule once with ≥24 hours’ notice.

• No-shows or late cancellations (<24h) may forfeit the holding deposit to cover security and room costs.

Authenticity & provenance

 

• We disclose known provenance and provide serials/cert numbers for graded items.

• Suspected tampering (e.g., re-sealed boxes) voids the sale; we do not break seals. Independent third-party verification (PSA/BGS/CGC) can be arranged at buyer’s cost.

 

Safety & privacy

 

• Staff are present; meeting points are monitored.

• We never discuss your purchase details publicly. Your ID is used only for appointment verification and invoicing
